Dread The Dread Of The Living Dead

Democracy has always been threatened by paranoia.

The Bush Administration and its toadies the likes of a Malkin, a Limbaugh, a Hannity, or the inhabitants of LGF's and Aryan Nation's cesspools of incontinent paranoiacs are saturated with sickening self-disgust. These paranoid yelpers' demands for destruction are an angry projection of people who harbor the deepest and most profound hatred of self. These are the loathing haters of self and the life they are terrifyingly immersed in.

These are the people who scream for mommy to kill every last monster under their chronically soiled beds until nothing is left to kill but themselves - for mommy, daddy, and their brothers and sisters too lie soon enough dead in the corner of their bedroom next to a teddy bear drowning in the blood of family and ghosts swept away by the
destructive forces of a child's animate fears.

No wonder such expressions of erosive self-loathing as homophobia, omnipresent corruption, and systemically implemented misogyny, child abuse, and ecocide are ubiquitous per policy enhanced and enabled expression. The Bush Administration is a movement of basket cases driven by the untempered and lingering demons of traumatized children grown old and crooked. We are not dealing with conservatism or the implementation of a particular school of fiscal policy when we speak of the Bush Administration and its decisive inner core of hyperbolic patrons. We are dealing with a pathology. The pathology of paranoia and its crippling infection.

Paranoia is the same ugly beast that drove the crusades. It is what drove the Taliban. It is the sincere yet twisted conviction that you are under attack by an omnipresent them.

Until his dying gasp of bunker air, Hitler knew that Nazism was a defensive reaction against perceived encroachment of world Jewry. Hitler wasn’t feigning fear. He never started out deriding Jewry just to win support among a desperate and challenged population. This was his driving and deformed force that emanated from a lethal pathology of personality.

Wars waged against ghosts and demons, of both the Long ( Chronic) kind and of the self-diagnostically appropriate War on Terror kind, marshal the spirit of propaganda that sees enemies everywhere. The real evildoer however resides deep within the person looking for evildoers.

Paranoia is a perfect impulse in its complete self-destructive potential. When a democracy is running properly enough and the press is uncorrupted from censorship in all its myriad of expressions then the citizens of a nation will know what is going on and are afforded opportunity to make rational decisions about self-government. Then the destructive pathology of paranoia cannot set but fleeting foot - and that only during moments of extreme trauma. As it stands today, the free press is for all intents and purposes dead and the culture and exploitation of paranoia runs rampant. The insane reign and their asylum is now our kingdom.

The Bush Administration represents an extremist movement that has hijacked the Republican party and religious conservatism. It stands in the same relationship to the religious right overall as the communist party did in relation to the left and liberals in the 30s. At its core, this movement is a confluence of small yet noisy paranoid factions within Christianity and Jewry who believe they are the most persecuted in the world and they accordingly spew out one corrupted supporting claim and seditious study after another to prove it and motivate policies hellbent on the destruction of all that is self per way of other.

The Bush Administration and its core cadre is a case study in projective paranoid mentality and this pathology and its opportunists have always threatened democracy with their wars of paranoia throughout the history of man, from the Punic wars that brought down Rome to the wars and policies designed by the Bush Administration to bring about the destruction of self through the destruction of the other - both at home and abroad.

This hardcore cadre sees it as their obligation to work now for the creation of what they call a Christian Republic, the impetus of which I firmly believe is rooted in the needs of the paranoid to destroy themselves by destroying all others. For to them the self-loathing life they live in the here and the now can never be as good as the life that will arrive when He comes. Only death and the illusion of the hereafter can alleviate their terrible pains of inadequacy.

As pious as the founding fathers were they firmly believed in the pursuit of happiness in this life and accordingly designed the government to protect us from the destructive forces government can unleash upon its own by incorporating the seperation of church and state, checks and balances, and a Bill of Rights into the grand design. They believed tyranny could always happen in America. They understood that the very nature of power will always try to take over and destroy freedom. This is why the present takeover of the American government by one party and the lunatic fringe thereof presents a clear and present danger both domestically and internationally.

This Administration is a direct systematic challenge to the ideals of the Enlightenment that the Framers embodied in the constitution. The Bush Administration is the resurgence of the very kind of terrible animus that the Framers who built this country intended to frustrate.

The mediaeval mindset of the Bush Administration that sees the world as divided into the Manichean forces of light and the forces of darkness wants to bring on a last clash. Through an abusive misinterpretation of scripture and prophesy they seek to hurry along the natural progression of a purportedly predetermined historic development and its eagerly awaited second coming by using the self-fulfilling interventionist policies of a true Leninist.

The entry into power, and the unprecedented consolidation of it, by this Administration's fanatical cadre and their Apoca-Leninist world view is the very expression of gathering tyranny that the guys who wrote the constitution set out unsuccessfully to thwart in all their wisdom born of profound understanding of the ways of both men and their rule. Those boys did all they could to prevent catastrophe in the Americas and the rest, with hindsight, was unfortunately left up to us.

The good news however was, America never voted to reelect George Bush in 2004. It wasn’t even close.

God bless us now
