. . . unlike my previous sites(which I coded by hand), this one is just a collection of preconfigured parts from a menu -- using a program included by the folks at 1and1.com. My plan was to set up my portrait blog as a companion to the portrait-mural-landscape page. Instead, because I hadn't initiated the proper sub-domain yet, it replaced the original page, and I'm still struggling to get the domains straightened out. Sometimes I don't quite grasp the logic of what's happening until after it's happened.
blog and website are now functioning. After several emails and one quite educational and entertaining phone call to the help line -- perhaps in Laos, who knows -- both blog and website are now happily coexisting, peacefully.

Thanks. I'm the ugly so I stay behind the camera and in the shadows.
...and speaking of bots - Ewwww!
Neat new web site (your gallery of portraits), btw. Great graphic design. I want a piece of that. Did you do it yourself?
Yes, I'm responsible.
Thanks for the compliment. . .but...

Sometimes I think you are my long lost twin.
Giving me shit while you're humpin' around Laos? Oh, the indignity!
Dysfunctional upbringing. Dyslectic soul. What can a dark-hearted girl say to keep her man?

The pure panic of it all. And then resolution.
Silence.
