A Must See! *(see update May 26 below)
Requires Quicktime
Update: We've received a claim that the video is fake. No substantiating evidence was provided by the claimant, merely a claim hitherto as void of substantiating evidence as it is pasionate in its plausible claims. SMC has requested evidence to corroborate the claim and has no doubt it will soon arrive.
Now why would anyone want to create a fake video of this nature?
And why would anyone want to claim the video is fake?
These are important hypothetical queries offering many interesting answers. The bottom line in this case?
It's your call but SMC thinks we know the answer and it will come soon.
HINT: What you want to believe is the prime clue to what the bottom line is.
Update. This just in (May 24)
IVAW Statement on MacBeth VideoIraq Veterans Against the War recently learned of a video
interview with Jesse MacBeth that directs viewers to IVAW’s
website and phone number. IVAW was not made aware of the
creation of this video program and our input on it was never
sought by its producers. Jesse MacBeth is not a spokesperson
for IVAW and any claims made by MacBeth about his service
have not been verified. We are currently investigating these
claims and will have a full statement pending its resolution.
This just keeps getting better. We told you this video is a must see.
* Update May 26. The Video link is now dead.

Jesse is a fraud. Really a must see?

The uniform is fake. His claims don't jive with facts (ie 18 months in Iraq, one purple heart for many injuries, being an E-4 with his qualifications). And the Army has no record of a MacBeth.
I know, I know... its all an info/psy-op to throw off the anti-war movement by the ingenious McBushrovehaliburton. Man, those guys are sharp! It sure does discredit the "must see video" when you get dozens of milbloggers (including real Rangers and SpecOps) disputing MacBeth's facts.
Kool Kira.
I doubt not the slightest that this could very well be an infoOp prank of a bunch of kids on either side of some fence. Who knows. I'd just like to see an official Armed Services spokesperson go on the record and state that this fella is an imposter - and not just that they have no record of him (we know what a sly dodge that could be).
Do you have any such links? Cottage analysis is quaint and even on the money at times, but this story can certainly muster better denials. I'd appreciate the favor and will return two if needed.
Thanks Kira
Excellent! Thanks Brad. Appreciate ya getting back to us!
